Inland waterway management and multimodal integration

Together with Erasmus UPT and NESTRA, STC Next delivered a management training programme through ITL for 37 managers from transport companies and government organisations operating within the sector.

The programme was made possible through the support of SENAT (Brazil’s National Transport Training Service).

The programme consisted of nine modules covering topics such as logistics, supply chain strategy, waterway infrastructure, port management, transport assessment and decision-making tools and strategies, smart and sustainable shipping, smart and sustainable ports, integrated transport systems analysis, field visits, and masterclasses in Rotterdam.

As part of the programme, participants completed academic papers to support their learning and demonstrate their understanding of the course material. Upon successful completion of the programme, participants were awarded a certificate recognising their achievement.
