Advanced training for service on ships subject to the IGF Code
For officers responsible for alternative fuel systems on board
This STCW-certified course prepares masters, engineers and personnel for working with alternative fuels on ships subject to the IGF Code. You will learn about the characteristics of low-flashpoint fuels, international legislation and safe bunkering operations. The training includes two simulated bunkering exercises to apply your knowledge in practice. After completion, you receive a certificate valid for five years.

General information
The Advanced Training for service on ships subject to the IGF Code (IGF-A) course is for masters, engineers and all personnel directly responsible for the care and use of fuels and fuel systems on ships subject to the IGF Code.The regulations are detailed in STCW Convention V/3 and STCW Code A-V/3-2 and the course is in accordance with Model Course 7.14
