• Taking precautionary measures to prevent pollution of the environment from the release of fuels found on ships covered by the IGF code

IGF A

• Familiarity with the fuels on board these ships

• Operate the propulsion installation and systems of these ships

• The safe performance and monitoring of all tasks related to the fuels on board these ships

• Planning and monitoring of the bunkering process and storage of the fuels on board these ships

• Taking precautions to prevent pollution from the fuels on board these ships

• Knowledge of the legal requirements for these vessels

• Take precautions to prevent dangers for these ships

• Apply health and safety precautions to these ships.

• Knowledge of prevention, control and operation of fire-fighting and extinguishing systems on board these ships.
